Rotaract, Club Service Chair (2012-2015)- As a member of the executive board of the Rotaract LSU, I have been heavily involved with the organization, including its largest service project raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Currently I serve as the club treasurer, and as a member of the organization, I have been involved with several service events including Habitat for Humanity, Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, and BREC (East Baton Rouge Parish's Parks and Recreation Department).
LSU EnvironMentors (2014-2015) I volunteered as a mentor with the LSU chapter of EnvironMentors. Mentors in the LSU chapter mentor students from Scotlandville Magnet High School to conduct a research project related to the environment with the goal of promoting and strengthening interest in environmental research.
LSU Student Government, College of the Coast and Environment (2013-May 2016)- From November 2013-August 2014, I was a senator representing the College of the Coast and Environment. As a member of the Student Government Senate, I sat on the Campus Affairs and Sustainability Committee, which aimed to increase sustainability efforts on campus. In addition to my role in senate, I was a member of College of the Coast and Environment College Council which served the students of my senior college. When I left my position as Senator for the College of the Coast and Environment, I rejoined the College of the Coast and Environment College Council as a member where I currently serve as the Outreach Coordinator.
CES Student Representative at DOCS/ENVS Departmental Program Review, Feb 2014- I was an undergraduate representative at the department review for reaccreditation for the Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences and the Department of Environmental Sciences.
Rotaract’s Kiss the Pig (2012-2015) Help organize, promote, and run LSU Rotaract’s annual philanthropy event which raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) Reading Program (2013)- Met weekly with a third grade student at an elementary school in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System to help improve the student's reading abilities.
Honors College Fall Service Project (2013)- Planted a variety of different trees and grasses on a marsh island located just off Port Fourchon, Louisiana with the Barataria-Terrebone National Estuary Program (BTNEP) for help with coastal restoration efforts
