I am a graduate student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington working with the Environmental Fluid Mechanics group. I am a May 2016 graduate of Louisiana State University where I studied Coastal Environmental Science with a concentration in Environmental Science Research and a minor in Mathematics. I am interested in the use of numerical modeling for coastal oceanography research and coastal engineering applications. As an undergrad at LSU, I engaged in research related to oceanography including a Summer Student Fellowship at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and successfully defended an undergraduate thesis for the LSU Ogden Honors College. I have also been involved in many campus organizations and projects serving my school and the surrounding community. To learn more of my volunteer and leadership positions, research experience, and awards and honors received, view my curriculum vitae.
